The K-Taekwondo Black Belt Homework Character Education Program is a new educational model designed to help children develop both a healthy body and strong character through Taekwondo training. This program is a long-term educational initiative carried out in collaboration with the Global Taekwondo Industry Research Institute, Taekworld Corporation, and the Taekworld Foundation, working together with Taekwondo dojangs across the nation.
Today, many parents are looking for programs that go beyond physical activity and help their children develop essential values such as self-discipline, leadership, responsibility, and respect. The K-Taekwondo Black Belt Homework Character Education Program was created to meet this need by providing an innovative system that connects Taekwondo training in the dojang with character education practiced at home. Students not only learn techniques and values at the dojang or practice them in their daily lives at home and school, while their progress and development are systematically recorded and evaluated.
Global Taekwondo Industry Research Institute
The Global Taekwondo Industry Research Institute was established in 1997 with the mission of promoting Taekwondo-based character education for children. Over the years, the institute has conducted extensive research on Taekwondo education and youth character development. Based on this research, the institute develops and produces the educational content used in the K-Taekwondo Black Belt Homework Character Education Program.
In addition, the institute provides the online platform and educational website system that enables Taekwondo schools and students nationwide to access and use the program. Through this platform, Taekwondo education can extend beyond the dojang into the home and everyday life.
Taekworld Corporation
Taekworld Corporation is responsible for distributing and operating the educational program and platform developed by the research institute to Taekwondo schools and students across the United States. The company collaborates with dojangs nationwide to implement the program, manage student activity records, and support instructors in delivering structured leadership and character education.

Taekworld Foundation
The Taekworld Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to promote the social value of Taekwondo. A portion of the revenue generated through Taekworld Corporation’s activities is used to support the foundation’s initiatives, including providing scholarships to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and expanding access to Taekwondo character education.
The foundation is committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to grow through Taekwondo and build a positive foundation for their future.
